  Other Ways to Give

In-Kind Donations

CSBPS welcomes donations of adaptive aids in good working order that are no longer being used. Items such as magnifiers, white canes, and CCTVs are used in our programs. Frequently the items we receive are donated to others who cannot afford to buy them.

Appreciated Property

Gifts of appreciated securities and real property may give you both an immediate income tax deduction as well as estate tax savings. Always check with your attorney or financial planner before making any gift of appreciated property.

United Way

CSBPS is funded in part through United Way of King County. By donating to United Way of King County, you can help support our services.

Employer Matching Gifts

An Employer Matching Gift program enables corporations and their employees to extend their charitable giving. Usually the employee selects a charity of their choice, within the corporations giving guidelines, completes one part of their employer's application form and submits the form with a donation to the charity. Once the donation is received, the charity completes the second part of the application and returns it to the corporation.

To find out more about your company's Matching Gift program, ask your Human Resources department for a Matching Gift program application form and the company's guideline for participation.
