- AgingEye Times
- AgingEye Times is an organization that provides free access to the latest medical information on diseases of the aging eye in an attempt to empower people to take control of their vision health, while educating them on the importance and need for further medical advances.
- American Association of the Deaf-Blind
- A national consumer advocacy organization for people who have combined hearing and vision impairments.
- Blinded Veterans Association
- Blinded veterans helping blinded veterans since 1945.
- EARS for EYES Program
- A nonprofit public charity that provides free of charge audio cassette lesson tapes that teach adaptive daily living skills to the vision impaired and their caregivers.
- EyeCare America
- Operates multiple toll-free, 24-hour, seven-days-a-week,
helplines that allow callers to request free eye health educational
materials or to see if they qualify for a referral to one of EyeCare
America's 7,800+ volunteer ophthalmologists nationwide. Callers
seeking a referral will be automatically screened to determine
their eligibility for the program that provides the most appropriate
eye care services. Eligible seniors who have not seen an ophthalmologist
in three or more years may be able to receive a referral for eye
care at no out-of-pocket expense for up to one year. Callers who
have not had an eye exam in the past 12 months and are at increased
risk for glaucoma may be eligible to receive a referral for a
glaucoma eye exam.

- Macular Degeneration Support, Inc.
- Non-profit group which offers both technical information and emotional support for people both on and off of the Internet who are coping with retinal degeneration.
- National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped
- Provides free library services to people with vision problems and physical disabilities. It offers Braille and recorded books and other periodicals through a network of cooperating libraries.
- Seedlings Brailled Books for Children
- Choose from over 500 low-cost children's books in Braille.
- The Seeing Eye
- Provides dog guides to qualified persons in North America.
- Washington Talking Book and Braille Library
- Provides talking, Braille and large-print books free to anyone unable to read or use standard printed materials because of visual impairment or other disability.
- United States Association of Blind Athletes
- This nonprofit amateur sport organization provides sport opportunities at the state, regional, national and international levels for the legally blind.
- Washington State Department of Services for the Blind (DSB)
- Offers services for blind and visually impaired people, including vocational rehabilitation, the independent living program and an assistive technology center, among other programs.
